On October 15, 2024, Mr. Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, Minister of Home, Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Criminal Prosecution Department visited CPLC Central Reporting Cell along with Mr. Ghulam Nabi Memon, IGP Sindh to inaugurate the upgraded call center at CPLC. Mr. Zubair Habib, Chief CPLC Sindh, gave a tour of CPLC and a presentation to the distinguished guests. Mr. Lanjar emphasized the importance of modernizing crime-fighting tools and enhancing public services. The Home Minister expressed commitment to further expanding CPLC’s capabilities across the province, ensuring that citizens have better access to police services and crime reporting mechanisms. The Home Minister praised the CPLC’s efforts in fostering collaboration between the public and law enforcement for a safer Sindh.
