Online Vehicle Crime Check by CPLCCPLC maintains a database of vehicles registered, lost, stolen and snatched. For example, if a citizen wants to purchase/ transport a vehicle, s/he can add the vehicle details like registration, chassis and engine numbers in this online database to instantly identify if the vehicle is clear of any crime.
In addition, a citizen can report a lost / stolen / snatched vehicle by submitting their complaint online or by calling the CPLC helpline. This would initiate the process of possible recovery of their vehicles, combined with the help of the police.
